Scrapyard Computing is a little different compared to other system integrators. We don’t keep a standing inventory so that does mean we don’t have systems ready to ship. Because there is no inventory, we can offer much better prices and have more flexibility when it comes to choosing components for systems. Certain parts being out of stock doesn’t affect us as much because we can quickly change where we buy parts from and which parts we use for builds.

The general shopping process with us goes as follows. You pick out the system you want and check out. If you want any alterations done before parts are ordered, please contact us after you place your order, or before you place the order, so we can make arrangements to accommodate the request. Once the order is received, we will purchase the parts. Once the parts arrive, we’ll assemble the system, test it thoroughly, then prep it for shipping. The address provided in the order will be verified. Once verified, a shipping label will be created and the system will be shipped to the customer. Overall, the process will take between 7 to 10 business days, which is pretty standard for custom built PCs. At the moment, all systems will ship with a one year parts and labor warranty and there are no other options for longer warranties at this time.
